The installation of a Stone quilt begin.

Now that all the soil nails are grouted and fixed in position, they are covered over with a decorative stone quilt. The quilt is there for aesthetics only.



This is the finished appearance which is very affective and pleasing to the eye.

Soil nailing is now completed.

The placing of six meter long steel rods into the excavated banking is now complete

Soil Nailing works commences.

The excavations work has left a 4.5 meter high 60° battered banking to the rear of the proposed dwellings.

The banking is to be retained by driving 5 meter long steel nails into the ground at 1 meter centres.

'X' marks the spot.

Once all the nails are in place they will be covered with a stone wall.

Excavations works completed to Phase 1

The reduced excavations works are now completed to phase 1 of the project.
There has been 487 truck loads removed from site on this phase alone.
