Rotherham Teens Build Better Futures With Wates Living Space.

Ten of Rotherham's over 16's who have struggled to get in to work, have completed the national Building Futures scheme with Wates (Rother View Road-Canklow site) in partnership with Learning World Academies. The week long programme saw them learn a variety of practical skills including Joinery & Brickwork. The participants then attended a community day undertaking some improvement works to the grounds & gardens at Canklow Woods Primary School. All participants were rewarded for their efforts with Building Futures certificates. All Candidates will now apply for their Construction Skill Certificate Scheme (CSCS) card which will allow them to work on building sites in the future.
